Leases are month-to-month and there is no minimum to stay, however we do offer specials for long-term rentals.
You will need to bring a valid form of I.D. and a copy of your homeowner or renter insurance declaration page. We can also provide information on an alternate tenant insurance program.

Climate-controlled storage units are heated in the winter and cooled in the summer.
Climate-controlled storage is ideal for furniture, electronics and any other household item that shouldn't be kept in extreme hot or cold environments. For household items that you’d usually store in a garage or shed, non-climate controlled storage would suffice.
Absolutely! All Tellus Self Storage properties have driveways that provide easy drive-up access for even the largest vehicles, including 18-wheelers.
Storage units with electrical outlets and interior lights are available at select locations.
Hand carts or dollies are available at select Tellus Self Storage locations. We also offer a move-in truck at most facilities, FREE with any 10x10 storage unit rental or larger.
You are not allowed to store anything that is flammable, hazardous, toxic, perishable or illegal. This includes, but is not limited to:
Our storage units typically have a minimum of 9.5 ft. ceilings.
Gate access hours – The hours you can access your storage unit. Most locations feature an access-controlled gate that can provide 24-hour access. Contact your facility manager or call our toll-free number to find out when you can access your storage unit.
Office hours – All storage units are accessible during this time. Typically, a facility manager is on the property and ready to assist you during office hours.
Interior storage units are units that are accessed through interior hallways. Because these units are located indoors, they are usually less exposed to dirt, dust, and humidity than exterior units. Interior storage units can be either climate-controlled or non-climate controlled.
Exterior storage units typically feature roll-up doors and are externally accessible. They are a great choice for any storage need that requires easy drive-up access.
Yes, we do! We sell cardboard boxes, mattress covers, packing peanuts, and virtually any packing supplies you may need at affordable prices. Drop by your facility during normal office hours to check out the full inventory.
We sure do! In fact, our Move-in Trucks are FREE when you rent a 10x10 storage unit or larger! Contact your facility manager for details and availability.
You are the only person with access to your storage unit unless otherwise specified on your lease agreement. If you need to add someone else to your account, contact your facility manager.
Additional access requests must be submitted to your manager in writing.
If your key is lost or stolen, notify your storage manager. He or she will then assist you by contacting a locksmith to have your lock removed. You will be responsible for replacing your lock, which can be purchased in your storage office.
Yes. If you’d like to transfer your items to a different unit, contact your facility manager.
Yes, however a new rental agreement must be completed.
If you need to vacate your storage unit, you must submit a notice in writing no later than the 15th day of the month.
The easiest way to make a payment is by signing up for AutoPay. With AutoPay, we set up your payments to automatically process on the same date each month, so you’ll never have to worry about getting your payment in on time.
We also accept payments online, by U.S. mail, or in person (at your Tellus Self Storage facility).
Generally, AutoPay customers enroll at the same time they rent a space. However, you can enroll in this feature any time by signing in to your online account or by contacting your facility manager.
You can make payments using a credit card (preferred), or check at any Tellus Self Storage facility. We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Payments are always due on the 1st day of each month.
Your account ID should be listed on your lease agreement, but you can also obtain it by contacting your facility manager.
