My experience at Tellus was very professional and courteous from the minute I walked in with inquiries. Property manager Staci was at her desk welcoming me and was willing to talk me through all the options of rental units available and pricing. In particular she advised me about a three month incentive rental plan that provided discounts. I chose a 3 month plan for a 10 x 15 unit. I was advised that I would need to come into the store on February 1st to sign lease and be shown actual unit I would be rented. I was concerned because I was to be in Mississippi that day loading furniture to be stored in my new Tellus unit and did not know if I would make it to the Covington Tellus facility in time to sign lease and unload furniture. Staci was very assuring that she would be waiting for my call to give her information on my locatin status as closing time approached and she would wait, if necessary, to have me sign lease and show me rented unit. And as promised she called my cell phone to check on my location at 4 p.m. and I stated I was leaving Mississippi at that time but was unsure if I would make it to Tellus facility by 5;30 p.m. And again, as promised, when my truck will helpers pulled up at 5:45 p.m. Staci was at her desk in the office waiting for us. It is so rare to find such committed professional workers in the work place today. Typically all employees run out the door exactly at quitting time and don't look back. I would have been stuck with a truck full of furniture and no where to put it and that would have cost me and extra day truck rental and an extra day hiring workers from 50 miles away. Your Tellus employee was a life saver. She also gave me good advice on the amount of insurance available (I took the max) and showed my crew the exact rented unit and opened the door to let us get a sense of the size of the space and best way to access it. My experience with Storage Unit companies is that they are very impersonal, if you even get to talk to a real person, and are not very co-operative for the amount they charge for rent. Tellus is showing me that there is a stellar professional storage service available in the area of Abita where I'm building my new home staffed with people who still care about quality service to their customers. You can count on me as being a Tellus customer for a long time to come. And if there is an electronic suggestion box for kudos for staff members going above and beyond the call of duty to help a customer then please allow this email of mine to qualify Staci for employee of the month.
