Was told my rate was locked in IT IS NOT

We sold our large home.I shopped around for the best price for 4 storage units. They offered me the best Military Veteran price. At the time of paperwork, I was told my price works be noted as locked in because of the number of units. Well I received notification of big increase in monthly rate!! I phoned about what I was told, and was informed “those people” are no longer there. So now I’m at the mercy of the new management. Hopefully they don’t change again, or I’ll have to have yard sell. They told me because of the demand and shortage of units, they justify increase!! I should have went with other storage company that has had the same rate for a few years. Sometimes the convenience is not worth it. Very disappointing indeed. There not knowing their next move is intimidating.
